Riverhead Town Police are seeking the public’s help to locate two teenage boys missing from Timothy Hill Children’s Ranch in Riverhead.

Police said Ja-wan Groover, 15, and Anthony Salinas, 17, left the Timothy Hill facility on Middle Road on Christmas Eve at around 12 noon. In a press release Sunday night, police described the pair as “frequent runaways. No foul play is suspected, police said.

Groover was described by police as a Black male, 5 feet, 3 inches tall, 110 pounds, with a dark complexion, brown eyes and short black hair. He was last seen wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans and black shoes.

Salinas was described by police as a Hispanic male, 5 feet, 8 inches tall, 160 pounds, with a medium complexion, brown eyes and short black hair. He was last seen wearing a blue jacket, blue jeans, blue and white Nike shoes and a blue “skull type” cap.

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Ja-wan Groover and Anthony Salinas is asked to contact the Riverhead Police Department at (631)727-4500.
