The Riverhead Volunteer Ambulance Corps celebrated National EMS Week with an open house at its Osborn Avenue headquarters Sunday.

Members of RVAC gave tours of their ambulances, offered hands-only CPR training and served up hot dogs and soft drinks to guests, along with special activities for kids. Suffolk County Sheriff’s Office personnel offered “Operation Safe ID” photo ID cards for children.
