Nellie M. Trimore (Battaglia) of Calverton, formerly of Merrick, died on July 13, 2022. She was 95 years old.
She was born in Brooklyn. She attended Bay Ridge High School. She worked as a homemaker and volunteered in school and church activities. Her hobbies included line dancing, bowling, traveling with her husband and spending time with friends.
She was predeceased by her husband of 68 years, John. She is survived by her children Janice Flood (Robert) and grandchildren Margaret and Kevin.
A viewing was held on Monday, July 18 at the McLaughlin Heppner Funeral home and funeral mass at St. John the Evangelist R.C. Church in Riverhead. Interment was held at Calverton National Cemetery.
