Gregory “Ghost” M. Richards of Southold died on Feb. 7, 2023. He was 50 years old.
He was born on June 29, 1972 to Marjorie and Al Richards. His hobbies included Cadillacs, hiking, adventures, slapstick comedy, movies, game nights with friends and cave exploring in Maine. His family said “he was known for his unwavering kindness and friendship from all that knew him.”
He was predeceased by his parents. He is survived by his brother Paul.
The family will receive visitors on Wednesday, Feb. 15 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at DeFriest-Grattan Funeral Home in Mattituck. Cremation will be private. A celebration of life is planned for a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the North Fork Animal Welfare League would be appreciated.
