Riverhead Faculty and Community Theatre presents “A Christmas Story —the Musical” on Friday, Nov. 22, Saturday, Nov. 23 and Sunday, Nov. 24 in the Charles Cardona Auditorium at Riverhead High School.
Based on the classic Warner Bros. motion picture “A Christmas Story,” this stage adaptation features music and lyrics written by Benj Pasek and Justin Paul and a book by Joseph Robinette.
The show is set in the 1940s in the fictional town of Hohman, Indiana and follows 9-year-old Ralphie Parker and his quest for “the Holy Grail of Christmas gifts: an Official Red Ryder carbine-action 200-shot Range Model air rifle.”
