Original post: Riverhead Police are asking the public’s assistance to locate a Bronx man diagnosed with schizophrenia missing since mid- to late-December.
Theodore A. Rourke, age 43, is the son of a Riverhead resident who reported him missing on Jan. 9, police said in a press release Monday afternoon.
The man’s mother, Judith Leavitt of Riverhead, described him as a white male, 5-feet, 8-inches tall, weighing approximately 140 pounds, brown hair, balding. Her last contact with her son was mid-December, police said.
Rourke was last seen in the area of 2700 Marion Avenue, Bronx NY 10458 in mid- to late-December 2024, according to the police report. Rourke has no ties to Long Island and has resided at 2700 Marion Avenue , Bronx NY for approximately the last seven years.
No foul play is suspected, police said.
