The Blue Waves girls basketball team defeated Patchogue-Medford on Riverhead’s home court Tuesday, 41-27.
Riverhead jumped out in front in the first quarter and never looked back. Adriana Martines and Logan Pilon led the Waves with 11 points apiece. Kayleigh Lennon scored 10.
With the win, Riverhead improved to 3-4 in League 1 and 7-4 overall.
The Waves are on their home court again for their next matchup Thursday against Longwood (3-3 in League I, 6-7 overall). Tipoff is 5 p.m.
