Update -12:08 p.m.: Main Road in Jamesport has been reopened following the traffic accident earlier today, Riverhead Police said.
Original post: Main Road in Jamesport from Tuthills Lane to Washington Avenue due to a motor vehicle accident overnight that took down a utility pole, Riverhead Town Police said in a press release this morning.
PSEG Long Island is on scene to repair the pole, police said.
Police said they will when the road is reopened.
