Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and Riverhead Town police are asking for the public’s help to identify and locate two people they say stole merchandise from a Riverhead store in December.

Police said a man and a woman stole assorted merchandise from Marshalls and HomeGoods, located at 1762 Old Country Road, at about 5:30 p.m. on Dec. 20.

Crime Stoppers is offering a cash reward for information that leads to an arrest. Anyone with information can submit an anonymous tip by calling 1-800-220-TIPS, using the P3 Tips mobile app (available in the App Store and Google Play), or online at www.P3Tips.com. All calls, text messages and emails will be kept confidential, police said.

Editor’s note: A criminal charge is an accusation. A person charged with a crime is presumed innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law.
