Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and the Riverhead Town Police Department are asking for the public’s help to identify and locate a woman they say stole merchandise from a Riverhead grocery store last month.
Police said the woman stole approximately $218 worth of assorted merchandise from Stop & Shop, located at 1615 Old Country Road, on June 11, 2026, at about 11:10 a.m.
Police released this surveillance camera image of the woman they say is wanted in connection with this theft.
Anyone with information is asked to submit an anonymous tip to Suffolk County Crime Stoppers by calling 1-800-220-TIPS, using the P3 Tips mobile app (available in the App Store and Google Play), or online at www.P3Tips.com. All calls, text messages and emails will be kept confidential, police said.
Crime Stoppers is offering a cash reward for information that leads to an arrest.
