Suffolk County Police arrested a Wading River woman Saturday morning after an alleged underage alcohol sale at a Mobil gas station in Eastport, police said.
In response to community complaints, officers assigned to the Seventh Precinct Crime Section conducted an underage alcohol sale operation at the Mobil station at 520 Montauk Highway at about 9:35 a.m., according to a Suffolk County Police Department news release.
During the operation, police said an underage agent purchased an alcoholic beverage from an employee. Filiz Kahraman, 54, was arrested and charged with Unlawfully Dealing with a Child in the First Degree, police said.
Kahraman was issued a desk appearance ticket and is scheduled to appear in First District Court in Central Islip at a later date, police said.
