Marie J. “Bonnie” Dickerson of New Suffolk died Oct. 26, 2026. She was 82 years old.
Born March 12, 1944, in Jamaica, she was the daughter of Marie (Buckridge) and Alexander Livingstone and was one of three children. On Nov. 25, 2017, she married Joseph Graham at Our Lady of Good Counsel R.C. Church in Mattituck, and they made their home in New Suffolk. She worked as a bank manager for Bank of New York on Shelter Island for 35 years. She was a member of Our Lady of Good Counsel R.C. Church in Mattituck, where she sang in the choir, served as a wedding coordinator and was involved in other ministries.
She was predeceased by her parents, Marie and Alexander Livingstone, and her siblings, Allan Livingstone and Robert Livingstone.
She is survived by her husband, Joe; her children, Colleen Valle (Michael) of West Palm Beach, Florida, John Zurawski (Patti) of Cutchogue, Brian Zurawski (Heather) of Wading River, and Joanne Biegert; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren, with another great-grandchild on the way; her sister-in-law, Lois Livingstone; her cousin, Fidel Kloker; and her niece, Rosemarie Livingstone.
The family will receive friends Sunday, Nov. 1, from 2 to 6 p.m. at DeFriest-Grattan Funeral Home in Mattituck, where prayer services will be held at 3 p.m., officiated by the Rev. Joe Staudt. The liturgy of Christian burial will be celebrated Monday, Nov. 2, at 10 a.m. at Our Lady of Good Counsel R.C. Church in Mattituck, officiated by the Rev. Michael Bartholomew. Interment will follow at Cutchogue Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or East End Hospice would be appreciated. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
