It was the second time in a week Riverhead police reported an early-morning assault at the establishment, which the town closed down a year ago after three violent assaults there between May and August last year.

Riverhead police say four people attacked a man on Osborn Avenue near the railroad tracks late last night, beat him with an object and robbed him of his cell phone.

Police said a man walking on East Main Street near Prospect Place early Sunday morning reported being robbed and assaulted by three males in their late teens.
