Republicans tap incumbents for re-election to Riverhead Town offices
The Riverhead Republican Committee voted to nominate its incumbent elected officials for re-election in 2025. At the top of the ticket is Supervisor Tim Hubbard, joined by council members Ken Rothwell and Bob Kern.

Aguiar sworn in for second term as supervisor at Riverhead Town Hall
Former U.S. Senator and lobbyist Alfonse D'Amato administered the oath of office to Riverhead Supervisor Yvette Aguiar today at Riverhead Town Hall. Councilman Bob Kern and Assessor Dana Brown also took their oaths of office during a ceremony scaled-back due to the coronavirus surge.

Coalition of business groups calls on governor to accelerate East End to Phase Four now
On the eve of the Long Island region entering into Phase Two of the New York Forward four-phase reopening plan, a coalition of East End chambers of commerce gathered in Riverhead today to ask the governor to recognize the “micro-economy” of the East End and accelerate the area’s progression into Phase Four.
