In tribute to veterans, Riverhead dedicates first cherry blossom trees planted in their honor at Veterans Memorial Park
The first 30 cherry blossom trees have been planted at Veterans Memorial Park as part of a new Town of Riverhead program to honor veterans and beautify the park. The town held a dedication ceremony there on Veterans Day.
