Dowling College

The Triple Five subsidiary that bought the Dowling College aviation campus in a bankruptcy proceeding in 2018 has been forced to terminate its benefits agreement with the Brookhaven Industrial Development Agency.

A Triple Five affiliate closed on the purchase of the 105-acre Dowling College campus in Shirley Sept. 21. A vote on the proposed sale of the 1,643-acre Calverton site remains stalled as town board members continue to wait for a decision by the town ethics board on whether one member has a potential conflict of interest requiring recusal.

It’s good news that Stony Brook Southampton, after years of looking like a ghost campus and a waste of state resources, has increased activity.
