Ratepayers blasted PSEG-LI and LIPA's proposed three-year rate plan during a public hearing at Riverhead Free Library last night. The plan would raise electric delivery rates by 2 percent per year for the next three years.

The state Department of Public Service will hold an information session and public statement hearing in Riverhead Monday on PSEG's proposed three-year electric rate proposal, which would increase delivery charges by about 4 percent annually for the next three years.
