A New York State appellate court yesterday upheld a 2023 state law moving most local elections to even-numbered years. The court also held that the law will take effect for the 2025 local election cycle.

It's easy to pass on voting. But it's a cop-out. A strong turnout will be a sobering jolt to the politicians and their power-broker backers. Give them voting numbers to REspect, rather than the usual apathy that they EXpect.
