Riverhead library’s Yellow Barn is open for business again. The used book shop, located in the historic carriage house next to the library, will be open Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays and one Saturday per month through Oct. 10.

The Riverhead library has decided to end its nearly 70-year relationship with the Friends of the library group. The the library hopes to open the Yellow Barn for book sales this summer — without the Friends or the group's inventory of used books.
