For the second night in a row, the crowd danced for hours at the Nile Rodgers FOLD Festival, held at Martha Clara Vineyards.
Last night’s show included Duran Duran and Chaka Khan; Duran Duran’s new single, “Pressure Off,” which also features Janelle Monae, is a fusion of electronic dance music and each artists’ unique sound, was produced by Rodgers.
Reflecting on the warm welcome he received from both festival-goers and the town, Rodgers, who gave another stellar performance despite injuring his leg the night before, said he’s excited for 2016 already, when he plans to bring a three-day show back to Riverhead.
“I’m ecstatic,” he said. “Last night was a night I’ll never forget, so magical and special.”
