Six people were arrested during a Labor Day weekend Stop-DWI enforcement action conducted by Riverhead Town Police from 4 p.m. Friday through 4 a.m. Tuesday.

Riverhead police this morning reported the following arrests:

Diane Iaccarino, 51, of Dix Hills was arrested on Saturday, Sept. 5 at 11:35 a.m. and charged with aggravated driving while intoxicated;

Raul Jimenez, 31, of Fort Lauderdale, Florida, was was arrested on Saturday, Sept. 5 at 10:54 p.m. and charged with driving while intoxicated;

Mateus Zygmunt Pieta, 17, of Riverhead was arrested on Sunday, Sept. 6 at 2:09 a.m. and charged with driving while intoxicated-drugs, criminal possession of marijuana in the fifth degree and criminal possession of a weapon in the fourth degree;

Marie A, Harnandez, 32, of Jamesport, was arrested on Sunday, Sept. 6 at 2:21 a.m. and charged with driving while intoxicated;

Jose Solano, 28, of Cutchogue, was arrested on Monday, Sept. 7 at 12:50 a.m. and charged with driving while intoxicated;

Katelyn A. Abrahamson, 23, of Mount Sinai was arrested on Tuesday, Sept. 8 at 1:03 a.m. and charged with aggravated driving while intoxicated.

Police said all were those arrested were processed at Riverhead Police Department headquarters and held until morning arraignment.

“The Riverhead Police Department will continue their STOP-DWI enforcement throughout the rest of the year especially during the Thanksgiving holiday and December holiday season,” police said in a press release.
