The Roanoke PTO set up a pumpkin patch in Roanoke Avenue Elementary School’s Star Garden on the Friday before Halloween. The PTO purchased 400 pumpkins to make it possible for every student in Roanoke to take one home.
Throughout the day teachers took their classes out to the pumpkin patch so the students could pick their pumpkin.
