Temperatures at or below the freezing mark this morning may freeze residual moisture from last night’s rainfall, causing areas of black ice on local roads, the National Weather said in a special weather statement this morning.
Motorists should use caution during the morning commute as slick spots will be difficult to detect and roads are likely not treated, the weather service said.
