Three Riverhead High School wrestlers have earned the Suffolk County Wrestling Coaches Association Scholar Athlete Award. Kerry Thomas, Jaiden Blom and Mitch Cope-Hobbs are the first Riverhead wrestlers to be honored as SCWA scholar-athletes.
The grapplers were given the awards April 13 at Villa Lombardi’s during the SCWA annual dinner.
