Riverhead Police are searching for a man who held up a store at Tanger Outlets just before 8 p.m. yesterday.
Police said the man, described as a black male, approximately 6 feet tall with a thin build, wearing a black ski mask and black clothing, demanded money from a clerk in the Hanes outlet store. After the clerk handed over an undisclosed sum of money, the man fled the store in an unknown direction.
Riverhead Police Department detective division is investigating, according to a police press release issued early this morning.
Police ask anyone with information to contact them at 631-727-4500. All calls will remain confidential, police said.
