The Blue Waves won their sixth straight game yesterday, handily defeating Brentwood 17-3 at the Pulaski Street Riverhead defeated Brentwood 17-3.
It was an easy outing in a slight drizzle that fell throughout the game. Riverhead was easily setting up down low, and executing their plays well, getting the score to 11-0 by the half.
Riverhead gave all three goalies some work in the game, and used their bench to its entirety.
There were 12 different scorers for Riverhead, with Christine Thomas leading the way with two goals, and three assists.
Brentwood managed to sneak in three goals, but Riverhead countered with six more.
Riverhead held on to win 17-3, improving to 7-3 overall, and 7-2 in Suffolk I.
The Waves next home game is Saturday, May 5 at 5 p.m. against North Babylon.
