Kindergarteners at Aquebogue Elementary School, dressed in surgical masks, gloves and caps, diagnosed and treated teddy bear patients with gauze and medical tape during a teddy bear clinic on Feb. 26.
Volunteers from Stony Brook Children’s Hospital attended the event and talked students about responsibility and taking care of themselves.
Students also took part in a car and bicycle safety discussion.
