Transportation, the environment, downtown Riverhead, Route 58, economic development, housing and agriculture are among the topics for discussion at five separate “topic-oriented” meetings with the planners working on Riverhead’s comprehensive plan update.
The topics and meeting schedule are as follows:
- Transportation – Monday, Nov. 29 at Riverhead Town Hall
- Environmental protection/sustainability – Tuesday, Nov. 30 at Riverhead Town Hall
- Downtown/Route 58/economic development – Wednesday, Dec. 1 at Riverhead Town Hall
- Housing/community services – Monday, Dec. 6 at Riverhead Senior Center
- Agriculture/farmland reservation – Monday, Dec. 13 at Riverhead Town Hall.
All meetings will run from 6 to 8 p.m. and all meetings will also be accessible virtually via Microsoft Teams.
