After a two-year hiatus due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Jamesport’s St. Patrick’s parade will return on Saturday, March 26.
Dawn Thomas, who was named the parade’s grand marshal in 2020 but never got to walk in the parade due to COVID cancellations, will be honored as grand marshal this year. The East End Emerald Society, which hosts the parade, has also announced two aides to the grand marshal for 2022: Kevin Carrick and Keri Najdzion.
A fundraiser to support the Jamesport St. Patrick’s Parade will be held on Friday, Feb. 25 from 6 to 10 p.m. at The Vineyards in Aquebogue.
Tickets are $50 and can be paid at the door or by check mailed to the East End Emerald Society, P.O. Box 327, Jamesport, NY 11947. The event will feature a Chinese auction. Contact John Cuddy at (516)732-3672 with questions.
