The East End Food Market has opened its doors year-round. Starting this week through October, the market will be open Wednesdays and Fridays from 3 to 7 p.m.
Each week, East End Food Market will host over 30 local farms and food businesses, wine tastings from a rotating list of wineries, educational opportunities from area nonprofits, craft vendors, local art, and live music.
Customers can pre-order local goods on the market’s virtual farmers market and pick up at the market during its regular business hours.
The market will continue to offer Double Up Food Bucks, a program designed to help SNAP-enrolled customers stretch their dollars to purchase fresh, locally grown food.
East End Food Market is located at 139 Main Road (Route 25) in Riverhead at the corner of Cross River Drive (Route 105).
The market is accepting vendor applications for the spring and summer season. Interested applicants should submit their applications online. For more information, email market@eastendfood.org
