Riverhead Police are looking for two masked men in connection with an attempted armed robbery last night on West Main Street
A clerk at Luck Wines & Liquors at 134 W. Main St. told police two men wearing masks, one brandishing what appeared to be a handgun, entered the liquor store at around 8:10 p.m. and demanded money, according to a Riverhead Police press release issued late last night.
Both men fled the store with no proceeds, police said.
Riverhead Police patrol units and a Riverhead K-9 unit canvassed the area but were unable to locate the suspects, police said in a press release,
