Riverhead Police are seeking information about a burglary that occurred overnight at the Valero gas station on Main Road in Jamesport.
Police said the burglary occurred at about 3 a.m. Responding patrol officers found the glass front door of the building broken. Detectives determined that a Black male wearing dark clothing and orange gloves entered the establishment and removed cigarettes, according to a police press release.
Anyone who has information is asked to contact the Riverhead Police Department at 631-727-4500. All calls will be kept confidential, police said.
