In a complaint filed last month in federal court, a Riverhead woman said she was injured by police officers in June 2019 as they attempted to arrest her son.
Police said Amber Tucker, 13, left and Kiaralyn Delgado, 15. are missing from Little Flower Children's Services since they left the facility at approximately 12:40 a.m. on July 21. Anyone with information is asked to call Riverhead Police at 631-727-4500.
Police said Angelica Ortiz Cano, 13, has been missing from her home in Riverhead for several days. She was last seen yesterday afternoon in the Flanders area. She is 5 feet, 3 inches tall, weighs 100 pounds, has long, black hair and brown eyes, police said. Police said Aiden Mariana, age 12, was last seen on Monday at 6:53 p.m., when he left Little Flower Children’s Services in Wading River. Aiden is described as 5 feet 5 inches tall, 140 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes. Drivers illegally pass stopped school buses more often than you think, according to Riverhead Police Chief David Hegermiller. He said cameras installed on school buses caught about 250 vehicles in the past month disobeying the law. When a warning period expires May 1, violations will cary a minimum $250 penalty.
