Riverhead Police are investigating a burglary that occurred overnight at the AT&T store on Old Country Road.
Police said they responded to a call this morning at the cell phone store. Between 8 p.m. yesterday and this morning, an unknown person broke the glass front door, entered the store and removed $175 from the cash register, police said.
Police said detectives are investigating the incident and do not have a description of any suspects. Anyone with information about the incident is asked to contact Riverhead Police at 631-727-4500. All calls will be kept confidential, police said.
