Riverhead Police blotter: Nov. 3 – Nov. 9, 2024

Riverhead Police reported arresting 26 people on 29 criminal charges between Sunday, Nov. 3 and Saturday, Nov. 9. Among the charges filed were one robbery charge, four criminal possession of a controlled substance charges, nine DWI charges, four petit larceny charges, two town code violation charges, two trespass charges, and four outstanding warrant charges.

A total of 470 incidents were reported by Riverhead Town Police last week. Among them:

Sunday, Nov. 3

7:21 a.m. Petit Larceny, Fink’s Country Farm, Middle Country Road, Wading River.

10:42 a.m. Domestic Incident, Fanning Street, Riverhead. Police report filed.

11:58 a.m. Disturbance, Wisla Delicacy Deli Corporation, West Main Street, Riverhead. A disturbance was reported near the location.

1:06 p.m. Petit Larceny, Hari Card & Convenience Store, East Main Street, Riverhead.

1:20 p.m. Property Lost or Stolen, Barnes Road, Wading River. Political signs missing from the location.

5:58 p.m. Petit Larceny, Chase ATM, Route 25A, Wading River.

6:00 p.m. Driving Under the Influence, Brook Street, Riverhead. A person was arrested for driving while intoxicated.

6:02 p.m. Petit Larceny, Target, Old Country Road, Riverhead. A person was arrested for petit larceny and released with a desk appearance ticket.

7:47 p.m. Town Code Violation, Suffolk Theater LLC, East Main Street, Riverhead. A town code summons was issued for public urination.

Monday, Nov. 4

1:19 a.m. Driving Under the Influence, West Main Street, Riverhead. A person was arrested for driving while intoxicated.

1:46 a.m. Robbery, Old Country Road, Riverhead. Investigation turned over to the detective division.

7:55 a.m. Petit Larceny, 7-Eleven, West Main Street, Riverhead.

8:43 a.m. Confiscated Plates, Old Country Road, Riverhead. A police officer confiscated a New York registration plate.

9:46 a.m. Domestic Incident, John Wesley Village, Aldersgate, Riverhead.

9:53 a.m. Motor Vehicle Stop, Old Country Road, Riverhead. Arrest made on an active bench warrant.

10:22 a.m. Property Lost or Stolen, South Jamesport Avenue, Riverhead. A person reported losing a New York State license plate.

11:30 a.m. Town Code Violation, LIRR – Riverhead Railroad Station, Railroad Avenue, Riverhead. Summons issued.

1:13 p.m. Property Lost or Stolen, Old Country Road, Riverhead.

1:44 p.m. Trespass, 7-Eleven, Old Country Road, Riverhead. A person was arrested for trespassing and processed with a desk appearance ticket.

2:41 p.m. Petit Larceny, Dick’s Sporting Goods, Old Country Road, Riverhead. An unknown Hispanic female removed items.

4:03 p.m. Petit Larceny, Dick’s Sporting Goods, Old Country Road, Riverhead. Reported larceny from TJ Max.

4:44 a.m. Petit Larceny, Tractor Supply Company, Middle Country Road, Calverton. Unknown persons removed a black 200 CC Coleman electric mini bike priced at $999.99 from the fenced-in area and attempted to remove a $2500 electric wheelbarrow.

5:45 a.m. Grand Larceny, Tractor Supply Company, Middle Country Road, Calverton.

7:38 a.m. Suspicious Person, Star Confectionery Store, East Main Street, Riverhead. A person was arrested for false impersonation.

8:21 a.m. Domestic Incident, Doctors Path Apartments, Doctors Path, Riverhead.

9:44 a.m. Robbery, Lincoln Street and Hallett Avenue, Riverhead. A person was arrested and held for arraignment.

9:56 a.m. Death Investigation, Ostrander Avenue, Riverhead. One person deceased due to natural causes.

11:40 a.m. Property Lost or Stolen, Meadow Lane, Riverhead. A complainant reported losing a New York State trailer license plate in the Riverhead area.

11:41 a.m. Grand Larceny, Middle Road, Riverhead. Police report a case of grand larceny at the location. Investigation to continue.

8:31 a.m. Motor Vehicle Accident Leaving the Scene, Miller Portable Service, Edwards Avenue, Calverton. A motor vehicle accident occurred with the involved party leaving the scene. A form has been completed.

11:50 a.m. Domestic Incident. Police officer reports domestic prior.

12:53 p.m. Town Code Violation, Target, Old Country Road, Riverhead. A person was issued a summons for a town code violation.

2:38 p.m. Town Code Violation, Planet Fitness, Old Country Road, Riverhead. The vehicle was gone prior to police arrival.

5:43 p.m. Grand Larceny, West Main Street, Riverhead. A person was gone prior to police department arrival.

8:04 p.m. Town Code Violation, Carpet Center, West Main Street, Riverhead.

8:21 p.m. Driving Under the Influence, Wendy’s, Old Country Road, Riverhead. A person was arrested for aggravated driving while intoxicated.

6:37 p.m. Disturbance, Old Country Road, Riverhead. Police report of disturbance.
