Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and the Riverhead Police Department officers are seeking the public’s help to identify and locate two women they say stole merchandise from a Riverhead store in July.
Police said two women stole approximately $430 worth of clothing from Hollister, located at Tanger Outlets on July 21 at 6:14 p.m. The women fled in a gray or silver SUV with a possible Virginia license plate TCD 6180, according to the police report.
Crime Stoppers released the above surveillance camera images of the suspects.
Police ask anyone with information about this incident to submit an anonymous tip to Crime Stoppers by calling 1-800-220-TIPS, or via the P3Tips.com website or the P3 Tips mobile app.
All calls, texts and messages will be kept confidential, police said.
Editor’s note: A criminal charge is an accusation. A person charged with a crime is presumed innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law.
Correction: The original caption published with the photos released by police had the wrong date. The alleged theft took place July 21, not Sept. 21, according to the police report.
