The Riverhead Police Department is asking the public’s assistance in locating a missing adult.

Brian Murphy, a 35-year-old male left the Concern for Independent Living facility located at 260 W. Main St. in Riverhead on Sept. 17, 2025 at approximately 10 a.m. and has not returned, Riverhead Police said in a press release today.

Murphy is described as a white male, 5’9″ in height, 230 lbs., with balding red hair and brown eyes, according to the press release. Murphy has been known to frequent the East Patchogue area, police said.

Anyone with any information on his whereabouts, is asked to contact the Riverhead Town Police Department at 631-727-4500.
