River Road in Calverton from Railroad Avenue to Connecticut Avenue will be closed on Friday, Aug. 7 for drainage repair work, Riverhead Highway Superintendent Mike Zaleski said Thursday morning. The road will be closed from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m., Zaleski said.
