The Riverhead Fire Department will hold its 2026 Open House on Saturday, Sept. 26, from 1 to 4 p.m. at fire headquarters, 540 Roanoke Ave.
The free family event will offer fire truck tours, live demonstrations, fire safety education and children’s activities. Visitors can meet local volunteer firefighters and representatives from Suffolk County Fire Rescue and Emergency Services, law enforcement agencies and the Riverhead Town Fire Marshal’s office.
Free refreshments will be served.
The rain date is Sunday, Sept. 27.
