Alive on 25

Riverhead's second installment of Alive on 25 drew another big crowd to downtown Riverhead last night.

Dave Lotito, owner of event services company One For The Road, is offering free rides home to any address in Riverhead township via his company's party bus.

Downtown Riverhead will be alive with art and music on August 11.

The street festival lined Main Street with vendor booths, live bands, dancing and al fresco dining. More than 5,000 people came downtown for the event.

Riverhead's new summer street festival will kick off this Thursday evening with outdoor street dining at downtown restaurants, pop-up musical festival performances, artist exhibitions and plenty of family friendly activities.

Riverhead’s Alive on 25 street festivals are planned for July 14, July 28, August 11 and August 25, with a rain date of September 1.
