Bomb threat

Riverhead Town police are investigating an anonymous bomb threat reported July 15 at Peconic Bay Medical Center, after a search found no suspicious activity or devices.

St. John Paul II Regional School on Marcy Avenue has been evacuated due to a bomb threat this morning. The Suffolk Police Department Bomb Squad Unit has been called to assist with the investigation of the threat.

Police did not say whether they believe this incident is related to the three bomb threats at the Catholic high school and one at Riverhead last month .

Following two bomb threats this morning, Riverhead High School and McGann-Mercy High School both sent their students home early. No bomb was found at either location.
