Hundreds of Riverhead students will march against drugs on Friday, June 1 in the 33rd annual “Say No to Drugs" march organized by the Riverhead Community Awareness Program.

The Riverhead Community Coalition for Safe and Drug-Free Youth and its community partners collected 423 pounds of unused, unwanted and expired medication during three different take-back events between Oct. 15 and Oct. 22.

A mobile unit will pick-up unused or unwanted prescription medications at the Riverhead senior center and at two senior communities on Tuesday.

The Riverhead Community Coalition for Safe and Drug-Free Youth's second drive-up drug take-back event will take place on Saturday, Sept. 26 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Office Max parking lot at Tanger Outlets.
