All 23 retail establishments checked by Riverhead Police Monday during an enforcement sweep targeting the sale of tobacco and vape products to underage patrons were found to be in compliance with the law, police said in a press release.

Three of nine locations checked were found not to be in compliance, and one employee at each location was charged with Unlawfully Dealing with a Child in the Second Degree, a Class B Misdemeanor under the New York State Penal Law, police said.

The man charged last month with criminal trespass in connection with larcenies from vehicles in the Wading River area, is now facing 10 counts of criminal possession of stolen property, according to Riverhead Town Police.
