Rep. Lee Zeldin faced challenger Perry Gershon Wednesday night in a debate hosted by the Mattituck Chamber of Commerce. Assemblyman Anthony Palumbo and challenger Rona Smith also debated the issues.

The debate, hosted by the Jamesport-South Jamesport Civic Association, will be open to all candidates for the Riverhead Town Board. Another debate next Wednesday will be held for candidates for town supervisor and town justice.
