The five-story, mixed use building at 203-213 East Main Street, proposed by applicant Robert Muchnick, owner of Metro Group Properties of Long Island, has “changed significantly." since last presented, said town planners, who advocate starting the environmental review process from scratch.

Two public sessions set to scope out study of proposed 170-unit apartment building on former Sears site
The scoping sessions will be held during the next two regular town board meetings, on Tuesday, Oct. 2 at 2 p.m. and on Tuesday, Oct. 16 at 6 p.m. Their purpose is to help the town board define the issues and potential impacts the developer will be required to address in its environmental impact statement for the project.
