Fireworks will illuminate the downtown sky again this summer and an Oktoberfest celebration will be added to the downtown Riverhead roster of events this year.
Organizers are going forward with the third edition of Alive on 25 jin downtown Riverhead July 26, hoping that the chance of rain will remain slight and the popular street festival will take place as planned.

Alive on 25 will take place on the Thursdays of July 13, July 27, August 10 and August 24, with a rain date of August 31.
Riverhead’s indoor farmer’s market is open for its fourth annual season today and every Saturday through April 29 at 117 East Main Street. The market's hours are 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Admission is free.
