Riverhead Volunteer Ambulance Corps is accepting donations of new, unwrapped toys that they will donate to the Cohen Children's Medical Center.

Riverhead Volunteer Ambulance Corps, founded in 1978 to provide emergency medical services for the Riverhead Ambulance District, which takes in more than 70 square miles, today answers more than 4,000 calls each year. The population of the town has grown by more than 65 percent since the corps was established.

Last year RVAC ran more than 4,000 calls to assist community members with medical emergencies. Come down to the open house to see how they do what they do for our friends and neighbors.
