Suffolk County Police Homicide Squad

Curtis Trent Jr., 36, of Calverton, was indicted today for Murder in the Second Degree for the stabbing death of his mother, Kathleen Harrison Trent, 63, of Calverton, Suffolk County District Attorney Raymond A. Tierney announced.

Kathleen Harrison Trent, 63, of Riverhead, has been identified as the woman found dead in a wooded area in Manorville on Feb. 11, Suffolk police said.

Suffolk County Police are investigating the death of a woman whose body was found in a wooded area in Manorville Wednesday.

Police are requesting the public’s help in locating Majorie Quarrie, aka Nicola Watson, who they say stabbed Conrad Gowan, 36, in the neck while inside his residence at 448 Herricks Lane on March 4 at 11:43 p.m.

A man fatally shot his wife and then himself in a homicide-suicide at their home in Jamesport Wednesday night, according to Suffolk County Police. 

Suffolk County Police said Preston Gamble was involved in an altercation between two groups of teenagers and young adults on Hill Circle in Calverton when a male shot him at 3:55 p.m.

Riverhead and Suffolk County police are investigating the death of a man who was found on Roanoke Avenue north of Joyce Drive last night.
