Eight retail locations in Riverhead Town were found in compliance with law on the sale of vape and tobacco products in an investigation conducted yesterday by Riverhead Town Police in cooperation with the Suffolk County health department and the Riverhead Community Awareness Program.
It is illegal to sell tobacco or vape products to anyone under 21 years of age in Suffolk County.
Riverhead police said the following locations were checked and were all found in compliance:
Riverhead Stationary and Grocery, 407 East Main St.
Village Grocery, 733 East Main St.
Mae’s Market, 161 Railroad Ave.
Bapa Cards and Gifts, 763 Old Country Rd.
Speedway, 1679 Old Country Rd.
Railroad Market and Grocery, 159 Railroad Ave.
Vape Pro 3 Inc., 48 W, Main St.
Pueblo Latino Deli, 719 East Main St.
