Flanders Fire Department marked its 70th anniversary Saturday with a parade on Flanders Road followed by a party for the community at the Flanders Men’s Club.
More than a dozen fire departments and EMS from across the region — as well as the Flanders, New Jersey Fire Department — paraded from Evergreen Road to Big Duck Ranch, where they were greeted by County Legislator Bridget Fleming and Southampton Councilman John Bouvier and emcee Neil Young on the reviewing stand.
The fire department served community members hot dogs and soft drinks at the waterfront men’s club property adjacent to Big Duck Ranch.
